Our Facility

Our facility is located at 3140 Maiden Lane in Manchester , Maryland . We occupy a 9,000 square foot building which houses our complete operation, such as:

1. warehouse—fabrics by the roll and trims for garments are stored prior to use.
2. cutting room—where fabrics are cut into the various components needed to produce a particular garment.
3. sewing room—where ladies actually take the various components and sew them together to produce a garment.
4. art department—where the tackle twill, heat seals, etc. are applied to the garment to produce a finish garment.
5. inspection—where each garment is inspected for quality and packaged for shipment to our customer.

Athletic Wear Direct manufactures all of its apparel in house. This enables us to oversee the constructon of our garments, giving you the comfort of knowing we have 100% quality control in addition to the best prices possible.

AWD will deliver you a uniform that is exactly what you want. We have some standard styles that you can select from, but we can also work with you to custom design a unique uniform. Our designers can create sample images of your desired design before production begins, insuring a correct result.
